Why Did We Start Web Success Seminars?

For the layman, the web is very overwhelming.  We are bombarded with new web marketing options every day.  Its hard to decipher what is hype and what is truly a quality product.  This overwhelming amount of information has spawned the “web expert” industry.  Many people have become web experts by simply going to a week-long educational course about web design & marketing.  (Yes, we are talking to you Mr Former Phonebook Sales person.)  These so called experts then peddle their web marketing or web design products to unsuspecting business owners.  We have seen it time and time again - big promises and no results.  This has given our industry a “bad rep” and caused fear amongst many business owners who would otherwise have great web marketing results if they had just been with the right company.  The fear of making the same mistake causes hesitation and often small business owners opt to rather do nothing, than to be locked into another “no results” contract.  So what happens to those small business owners that generally agree the web is a good thing, but don’t want to market online?  Unfortunately, they lose business to their competitors.  It’s the Great Disconnect, and our agency works very hard to show people that there are companies who care and believe in building business on relationships with quality and realistic expectations.
